Thrill The World has exploded internationally with it's biggest event ever!
With a staggering 72 official cities worldwide in 10 nations, Thrill The World 2008 has exploded around the world for what has been it’s biggest event ever!
With events throughout the world, everywhere from Austin to Saudi Arabia, from Brisbane to Dublin, we’ve stomped all previous events to the ground!
As of 6:00pm EST on October 25th we had more than double our record from last year!
We’ll be keeping track of all the various media that is starting to come in, so please keep an eye on the events video page, plus press clippings and videos. Uploaded your video? Then let us know where it is! Simply comment on this article, or drop us an email.
Over the next few days, we’ll be setting the record straight, and adding up the zombies to confirm those exact final numbers. So come back soon for the official lowdown. World Record confirmation will be posted soon as well!
As always, here’s a MASSIVE thank-you to all organizers, volunteers, dancers, sponsors, and supporters! Without you, this wouldn’t be possible so THANK YOU! You ROCK!
Next year, our goal is a quarter-million dancing zombies! Time and date for 2009 event will be released soon, so check back!

I would like to talk to the 2009 organizer for San Francisco to volunteer to help with the annual event but also to try to organize a monthly dance to keep in practice and continue the fun. Would you please let me know how to make this connection?
Thanks,
Kathleen

Dear Ines,
Thank you so much for these videos. I’ve organized a group of 16 dancers to do the first three minutes of the dance on Halloween night in the French Quarter and into the Marigny of New Orleans. We’ve been practicing twice a week for the past two months. I can’t tell you how excited everyone is to participate and today our dress rehearsal was held at a community center that hosted a children’s Halloween party. Best of luck and next year, I’m going to organize the group to Thrill the World with you! XOXOXO,
Christina

I was a part of this huge event @ Six Flags Great America in Gurnee Illinois! I loved performing the Michael Jackson Thriller Dance standing up front next to the Michael Jackson-dressed in the red “Thriller” jumpsuit. It was so fun & then there was a karaoke machine outside, so I danced & sang to “Billie Jean” moonwalking & everything with the crowd cheering, since I impersonate Michael already. Thrill the World, you guys rock & that was the most fun day I’ve ever had mostly in part to you guys. Thank you so much, it’s crazy to be a part of history by “Thrilling The World!”

Jared Brandt, in Regina, did an amazing job of organizing the event here. We had a fabulous turnout with LOTS of young people. They seemed so excited to be part of this! I’m sure this is a memory they’ll treasure! I know I will and I’m just an old fogey.

The videos, when followed in their prescribed order, work very well. Using the language to the movement is also very very useful. I am still practicing. I only learned about “Thrill the World” this Oct 2008. But will be ready for next year’s “Thrill the World.”

Had a blast. I wouldn’t have missed it for anything. I wish I would have known about it last year too, but I will be a part of this as long as it goes on. I only found out about it a week and a half before the event, so I wasn’t real confident, but I will be an expert for next year. I managed to get my son, sister and nephew interested too (although my nephew had to back out). I will have many more people interested by next year.
