Thrill the World is run on sheer love for dancing and Thriller. See who makes the cogs turn…
Ines began dancing, in front of the TV, at age 3 to Michael Jackson's “Thriller.” Her formal dance career began at age 16 at Eastwood Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario. It was here that Ines first learned the choreography for “Thriller” from her dance teacher Janis Price. Ines then taught the dance to other dance and drama students to perform it for the Hallowe'en Spirit Assembly.
Ines completed her dance studies at York University. She went on to become a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, a CAN-FIT-PRO Fitness Instructor Specialist and a dance instructor and choreographer of Hip Hop, Salsa and Contemporary Dance. Her choreography for Mambo Mosaic, a 32-person Salsa Chess Game, premiered at the Canada Salsa Congress 2006. Her kids dance company, Lil’ Miss Fitz, won gold at Stomp 2007. Yea-yay!
Since daring to inspire the world to dance, Ines has been blessed to travel around the world! She hopes to continue to be fortunate enough to travel and share her joy of dance with people everywhere! So if you think you can’t dance… Ines is here to take on that challenge and show you that anyone can dance!
Thank you to everyone who has, is, and will contribute to making the dream come true: to inspire the world to dance!
Tom started helping out Ines with Thrill the World in 2008. A long running zombie-walk organiser based in Brighton UK, Tom is already responsible for the zombie social networking site www.crawlofthedead.com. After stumbling across the Thrill the World project, he fell in love with the sheer awesomeness of seeing zombies dancing to Thriller in huge numbers.
With 10 years of interactive and print design experience, Tom jumped aboard to work some of his magic on www.thrilltheworld.com.
